Planning a wedding comes with plenty of questions, so I've put together some of the most common ones below. From securing your date to receiving your content, here's everything you need to know about working together and me capturing your special day. How far in advance should I book?
Wedding dates can book up quickly, especially weekends and during the spring/summer months. I would recommend reaching out as soon as you book your venue and have your date confirmed. That being said, it's always worth asking! If your date is coming up soon, I'll let you know if I'm available.
How do we book?
Simply get in touch via the contact page and enquiry form and I will get back to you within 48 hours. Please detail the message with your wedding date, venue and a little bit about your day. I'll check my availability, and send any further details you may need, and once you're ready to go ahead your date is secured with a deposit.
How much is the deposit?
To secure your wedding date I require a 50% deposit. This will be paid via bank transfer with details provided on your invoice. The remainder of the booking is then required to be paid one month before the wedding day.
What actually is a Wedding Content Creator?
Think of me as your third wheel, unofficial best friend and undercover wedding guest. I'll be there to capture all those big moments, like the first kiss, confetti throw and first dance, but I'll also be in and amongst your guests capturing the heartfelt, emotional and joyful moments that you might not see on your day. I capture moments in the form of short clips on an iPhone, and take these to then edit together and generate 30 second, 1 minute, and 3 minute highlight reels for you to enjoy. You'll also receive all of the unedited clips via email if you wanted to create your own clips.
When do I receive my content?
I'm a lover of reminiscing and looking back at unforgettable moments - that's why I aim to have some sneak peeks with you on the morning after your wedding. This will be a mixture of shorter clips and highlight reels for you to enjoy. The remaining 100+ short clips will then be with you on email within 48 hours of your wedding.
How long do you stay?
My packages are 5, 7, and 9 hours long, with the 9 hours package typically covering from the end of getting ready with the bridesmaids to the first dance. If you would only like footage from the ceremony onwards, that is ok! The hours can be tailored to suit the moments you would like captured.
What do you do with the videos?
As well as send all of the clips to yourselves to enjoy and look back on for years to come, I edit several of these smaller clips into longer form highlight reels. These are social media ready for you to share across your own channels. With your permission, I will then share content from your special day across my website and social media channels to spread the love and joy, as well as for creating content for my channels.
Do you have travel & accommodation charges?
Yes - any venue that is outside of my boundary of 50 miles is charged at 0.45p a mile. If you would like an additional travel quote, please enquire and I will let you know what this will be. I am based in the West Midlands for reference. If your venue is further than a 2 hour drive, and to ensure travel runs smooth on the day without delays, I may request an additional contribution towards accommodation. This will enable me to arrive on time, fresh-faced and ready to go for you and your guests.
What happens if our plans change?
Wedding plans can always change, and I understand that. If your timings, venue or plans change, please keep me updated and we'll work together to make sure your day is still captured as smoothly as possible.
